Westbank is currently under construction at 1200 Stewart Street with two 48-story residential towers. With a design that showcases the sculptural architectural style that Westbank is known for, 1200 Stewart is set to house over 1,000 apartments and nearly 150,000 square feet of retail space.
Plans filed with the city indicate that a new Trader Joe’s will occupy about 15,000 square feet of space located on the corner of Stewart and Minor Avenue in the Denny Triangle development. The plans also designate 130 stalls and 66 bike stalls to Trader Joe’s (and perhaps other commercial tenants) of the development’s five levels of below grade parking with 613 total stalls.
1200 Stewart broke ground in May 2018 and is scheduled to open Winter 2021/2022. In total, the project measures at about 1.4 million square feet.
Virginia Street Joint Venture LLC
Westbank also has a couple other Seattle projects joining the Seattle skyline. First Light is nearing groundbreaking in Belltown. Located at the corner of 3rd and Virginia, the 47-story tower features 459 residences. First Light is scheduled for completion in 2022.
Frye Towers/Westbank
In First Hill, the Frye Towers at 707 Terry Avenue feature two 33-story towers with 486 apartment units, and 7,600 square feet of retail space. One of its main features is the glass bridge connecting the two towers at the 31st floor. The Frye Towers are estimated for completion in Fall 2021.
