A two-building apartment complex is in the works where the Original Red Robin restaurant once stood, at 3272 Fuhrman Avenue E., at the southern end of the University Bridge.

The plan is to put a three-story and four-story building that will house 63-units plus 1,800 sqft of ground-floor retail space and a courtyard in-between.

The complex would have 40 one-bedroom units, five two-bedroom units and 18 studios.

A Seattle design review board will hold an early design guidance meeting at 8 p.m. on February 25 in the Case Commons Building, Room 500E, at Seattle University.
