Rumor is, via theDJC, is that the historic Macy’s in Downtown Seattle at Third and Pine Street is planning on selling the top four floors of its eight-story building as a commercial condo interest.

A source told the DJC that the space needs a lot of work. The top floors each have 80,000-square-foot of open space and would be difficult to split for individual tenants. With more firms wanting to be in the core of downtown, the upper floors could be just right fit. Last year FaceBook had an eye on the space, but ended up settling over in South Lake Union.
