The Melrose Promenade projects goal is to transform the Western edge of the Capitol Hill neighborhood, Melrose street, the lowest point of the Hill. This would change the one-mile stretch of Melrose Avenue, Melrose Avenue East, and nearby public spaces alongside the I-5 corridor from Pike Street to the South and stretching to Lakeview Boulevard to the North, into a lively and vibrant promenade public park.
