Seattle developer Schnitzer West sold Bellevues Bravern apartment towers and set an all-time record price for the Puget Sound area. The two 33-story towers, home to 455 units sold for $307.8 million, which works out to more than $676,923 per unit. Public records list the buyer as Bravern Residences North and South LLC.
The previous high record was held by Aspira, a 325-unit apartment high-rise in Downtown Seattle, which went for $485,380 per unit.
The Bravern Apartments were built in 2010 and originally constructed as luxury condominiums, the apartments maintain 94 percent occupancy. The Bravern is a mixed-use project with the Office Commons, fully leased to Microsoft, and The Shops at The Bravern, high-end boutiques and stores like Neiman Marcus, Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Ferragamo.
The Bravern is located at NE 8th St & 112th Ave in downtown Bellevue.
