I am just getting back into the news but thought I would deliver the scoop on Vulcan’s newest apartment building that is springing up on the corner of Denny and Dexter.
The Borealis Apartments will be 5 stories tall comprised of 53 units, 2 levels of underground parking and amenities including a roof top deck, on-site manager and a green screen of climbing plants along the southside of the building.
Floorplans include studios (365sf 505sf), 1 bedrooms (680sf 705sf), 2 bedroom/ 1 baths (645sf 830sf) and 2 bedroom/ 1.75 baths (825sf 890sf).
The Borealis is also designed to qualify for the BUILTGREEN certification and the BUILT SMART program to conserve resources and provide/promote energy efficient urban dwellings.
Completion is scheduled for Spring 2008 and more info will be coming soon!
