A 550-unit apartment complex is going to be built by Dearborn Street Developers LLC on the site of the Seattle Goodwill facility in the International District. There will be 200 apartments designated as affordable-housing; 100 apartments will be dedicated to low-income, 62+ seniors who make less than $16,351 per one-person household, and the other 100 will be dedicated to those working households who make less than $54,500 per one person. Seattle Housing Authority secured $20 million in federal New Market Tax Credits to invest in the affordable-housing project and applied for another $20 million. For more information, click here.
