Green living has proved to be a popular choice for todays informed homebuyers but I have noticed that there are still a lot of people who dont understand what exactly the terminology means.

LEED
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, a green building rating system from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the nations foremost coalition of building industry leaders. LEED is the standard for creating high performance buildings. (USGBC definition)

Built Green

Built Green is an environmentally-friendly, non-profit, residential building program of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, developed in partnership with King County, Snohomish County and other agencies in Washington State.

Energy Star
Energy Star is a government-backed program helping businesses and individuals protect the environment through superior efficiency which reduces greenhouse gases. It is a part of the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA definition).

Mosler Lofts is pushing Green living as an additional selling point while they seek to become the first LEED Silver Certified condominium community in the region- which is not an easy accomplishment. They also pride themselves on being sustainable, renewable, eco-friendly and water efficient while promoting renewable energy, natural ventilation and light and the usage of green materials and resources throughout the project.

There are only a few floor plans left with square footages ranging from 1,117 1,827, starting at $655k. Occupancy is set for late summer/early fall.
