Stalled 2116 Fourth Ave Belltown Tower finally gets the green light! PCL construction has started work again on the 41-story high-rise building in Belltown, formerly called Potala Tower. The project was halted back in August 2015 when the Developer was accused of defrauding investors and misusing funds.
The project is now owned by Molasky Group and Binjiang Corp. The plan is to keep the project as originally planned but rebranded (name to be determined). The 2116 Fourth Ave tower will include 339 residential units (apartments or condos), 142 hotel rooms, 1,824 square feet of retail space, and 177 underground parking spaces.
The tower is expected to be completed by January 2019.
The project is located across the street from the 4th and Blanchard Building (aka Darth Vader Seattle Building) and next door to Paul Allen’s Cinerama Theater. The address is 2116 Fourth Ave in Belltown.
