This week we got a new look at Bosa Development’s One88 condominium tower in downtown Bellevue. The project, located at Bellevue Way Northeast and Northeast Second Street, broke ground in September and is the first Seattle-area project for Vancouver B.C.–based architect, Hossein Amanat. The 21-story tower’s shape was inspired by the aesthetic of quartz crystals.
Located just blocks from Lincoln Square and Bellevue Square, One88 will feature 143 units with 1-bedroom to 3-bedroom floor plans and some penthouses. Private and commercial spaces boast views of Lake Washington, Cascade Mountains and Downtown Bellevue Park.
Amenities include an indoor pool, children’s playroom and fitness center. Some units will feature unique balconies with partially enclosed spaces depending upon their location in the tower. The project also features 21,000 square feet of ground floor retail and three levels of below grade parking for 292 vehicles.
Bosa purchased the 52,000 square foot property in 2015 for $22.8 million. Price points for the condominiums have not been released for One88, but sales will begin in 2018. The project is slated for completion around 2020.
Bosa previously developed Seattle’s Insignia Towers and they are currently developing downtown Seattle’s Civic Square project. The project is set to feature a 520 unit residential tower and 25,000 square foot public plaza.
