Developer Crescent Heights is planning to develop two residential towers in the Denny Triangle.
In the proposal submitted to the City of Seattle, the developer plans to turn the lot into two 39-story high-rise residential apartment towers, with a 7 story podium along with 3 floors of below grade parking.
Back in September of last year, Crescent Heights paid about $18.5 million to acquire the block corner of Minor Avenue and Stewart Street (currently a parking lot) and has approached the city about buying the parcel at the corner of Minor Avenue and Virginia Street, in the Denny Triangle.
The Crescent Heights proposed plan could add as much as 1,000-units to the market. According to market research firm Dupre+Scott Apartment Advisors, between now and 2017, developers will open more than 7,500 apartment units in downtown Seattle alone.
