omni south lake union towers

Onni Group of Vancouver, B.C is planning an expansiveresidentialdevelopment going into place rightacross from the Amazon headquarters, in the growing South Lake Union neighborhood.

In documents filed recently with the city,Omni Group proposed plans to build the four towers on two full city blocks between Fairview Avenue North, Denny Way and John Street. Plans submitted include a two-tower24-story residential building with 860 units and atwo-tower 40-story development with 1,085 residential units. The two blocks will have a total of 44,000 square feet of retail and 1,700 of underground parking. All the buildings in this area withexception to the Seattle Times Building(a designated a historic landmark) will be demolished.

The city board is scheduled to review the early design for the projects on May 7.
