High-Rise Towers Planned for 6th and Bell in South Lake Union

Another High-Rise is coming to the South Lake Union neighborhood! The latest addition is of a proposed mixed-use development at 2326 6th Avenue, the current home of Antioch University. The project site is the entire half block between Battery and Bell Street along 6th Avenue- right across the street from the Insignia Condominium Towers.

The development project was originally for a single high-rise tower, however plans changed in June when the project acquired the adjoining property at Sixth Avenue and Bell Street.

The updated development project calls for two 42-story high-rise towers that will include approximately 830 residential apartments, 198 hotel rooms, approximately 12,000 square feet of ground level retail in a 12-story podium and 600 underground parking stalls.

The developer Jon Breiner and Ed Hewson (HB Management).

The project proposal is available on seattle.gov
