Another Belltownresidential tower project is resurrected! Laconia Development is moving ahead with a triangular 43-story apartment tower at 600 Wall Street. Laconia LLC had initially planned a 30-story multi-family highrise, but that idea was shelved when the Great Recession hit back in 2006. Now the plan is to build a43-story tower next fall or early winter.
In the packet that Laconia submitted to the city in advance of the Jan. 6 meeting it mentions that the Apartment will be home to around 400 rental units that will average 820 sqft and will range from studios to two-bedrooms. There will also be approximatly1,950 sq ft of retail space at ground level.
