A sky-high new building by Laconia Development is in the works to be built at the corner of Denny Way and Wall Street. The 39-story, 310-unit tower is estimated to be 400 feet tall, comparatively taller in scale to nearby buildings and just a couple hundred feet shy of the 605 foot tall Space Needle.

Whether the Laconia Project units will be apartments or condos has yet to be revealed. However, in 2008 Laconia had planned to build a 32-story structure, home to 283 condos, but that plan was put aside dueto economic conditions.

The tower will have 1,800 square feet of ground-floor retail and underground parking for up to 284 cars and 155 bicycles.

An early design guidance meeting is set for 5:30pm, November 5th at City Hall, 600 Fifth Avenue.
