Last month Madison Development Group broke ground on their mixed-use development, the Luna, at 2749 California Avenue SW in West Seattle. The development is located on the site of the West Seattle PCC which closed last spring to prepare for construction. Once complete, the project will be the new home for PCC in addition to the Luna Apartments situated above.
Plans call for 108 units above street level retail. The floor plans include studios and one-bedrooms. A quarter of the apartment units will be priced for those making between 50 and 80 percent of the area median income through the Multifamily Tax Exemption program. The resident amenities include a fitness room and rooftop deck.

At street level will be a 25,000 square foot retail space that will be the new home for the West Seattle PCC. Graham Baba is the lead architect on the PCC redevelopment.
The Luna and new PCC Market are scheduled to open late summer 2019. The Luna team includes Hewitt Architects and interiors by Two 9 Design.
