If you are walking on Virginia between 8th & 9th, you will notice an addition to the neighborhood- a city 7-Eleven! It is set to open at the end of this month and unlike typical 7-Eleven stores, this one will be open from approximately 6am to 12pm (hours are still being discussed according to the Cosmopolitan concierge).
When they first proposed the 7-Eleven concept to the homeowners, I received a couple phone calls from owners expressing concerns about having the store in the building (I even had someone walk away from signing a lease renewal) BUT overall I think it is a positive move for the immediate neighborhood. Just hope that the deli on 9th has loyal patrons!
