New Residential Tower, slightly inspired by Amazon’s new biosphere dome. Developer Westbank is planning to build a giant 60-foot-tall geodesic dome atop of its 46-story residential and office tower. Design Review Early Design Guidance application is proposing a 500-foot tower including 38 floors of 453 total residential units located above 6-floors of office space. The first two floors will be dedicated for retail and the building lobby. There will be parking for 372 vehicles, located below grade. The multi-level dome is to be the residential amenity space complete with an indoor/outdoor swimming pool and lots of green space. The address is 2000 3rd Ave on 3rd and Virginia. The current site of a parking lot.
