The Capitol Hill neighborhood in Seattle is one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the city. You’ll find a vibrant and fast-paced neighborhood with an endless number of cool blocks to explore boasting some of the city’s best nightlife and entertainment.

Escape from the city noise to the 48-acre Volunteer Park, which includes a conservatory, a water tower, and observation deck. Volunteer Park is also home to the Seattle Asian Art Museum– Admission is free on the first Thursday and the first Saturday of every month. Another popular hot spot in Capitol Hill is Cal Anderson Park, which was crowned one of twelve America’s Best City Parks by Forbes.com in 2009. The Cal Anderson Park was designated as a Seattle Historic Landmark site in 1999. A stunning 11-acre open community hub includes tennis courts (with outdoor lights), basketball courts, dodgeball court, fountain, pool and reflecting pool, promenade paths, landscaping, plaza, a children’s play area, and a wading pool.

The Capitol Hill neighborhood is located directly east of Downtown on the other side of Interstate 5. Capitol Hill is the 9th most walkable neighborhood in Seattle with a Walk Score of 91 and is bikeable. Easily stroll to Denny Triangle, Pike Place Market, Waterfront, Financial District, South Lake Union, and Capitol Hill. It’s easy to get around the area with the Public Transit and Link Light Rail station.
