NEIGHBORHOOD VIBE
Kirkland is located on the shores of Lake Washington just east of Seattle and north of Bellevue. From adventure and outdoor activities, to shopping and dining, Kirkland has a lot to offer. Most of the activity is around Central Way and Lake Street, which winds alongside the shores of Lake Washington. This area is where daily errands can be accomplished.
The city is host to a variety of restaurants including Anthony’s Homeport, Cactus, Café Juanita and Oto Sushi. Bordering Woodinville Wine Country, Kirkland is home to a variety of wineries, wine bars and tasting rooms. Many have outdoor patios and are located just steps away from Lake Washington.
Waterfront parks make up 25% of Kirkland’s total square miles on Lake Washington. Marina Park features a sandy beach and open-air pavilion. It is often used for summer concerts and special events including Kirkland’s July 4th Celebration. Juanita Beach Park also features a sandy beach and swimming area, volleyball and tennis courts, fishing and a playground.

Kirkland has easy access to SR-520 and I-405 making it a hot spot for commuters. Residents range from young professionals to retirees. The Lake Washington School District is consistently ranked as one of the best school districts in the state making it a great place for families with children.
