Upper Queen Anne is a quiet residential neighborhood located north of downtown. The name is adopted from the Queen Anne style of home often built in this area. You’ll find a handful of cafes, restaurants, and boutiques within walking distance along Queen Anne Avenue. Sitting upon a 456-foot hill, more than 100 pedestrian staircases connect the streets of this hilly neighborhood. Along the way, you’ll come across small hilltop parks like Kerry Park, Bhy Kracke Park, and Marshall Park, where you can enjoy some of the most impressive views of the Space Needle, city skyline, Mount Rainer and Elliott Bay.
