NEIGHBORHOOD VIBE

West Seattle is a neighborhood located southwest of downtown. Connected to downtown and SoDo by the W. Seattle Bridge, this neighborhood has a relaxed, mellow feel compared to the city’s busy urban core. The Junction is the urban center where you will find shopping, restaurants, and numerous events to keep you busy year round.

You can also head over to Alki Beach, a 2 mile long strip of classic sandy beach. Other major neighborhoods within West Seattle include Admiral, Delridge, and Fauntleroy. Fauntleroy, on the west side of the peninsula, is a quiet and serene hillside community with great views of the nearby islands and Olympic Mountains. The Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal is part of the Washington State Ferry line that goes between the islands and West Seattle. Fauntleroy is also home to Lincoln Park, home to 135 acres of recreational opportunities including: hiking trails, bike trails, boat launch, wading pool, heated outdoor saltwater pool, and picnic sites.
