Located on the former site of KING 5’s broadcast studio, the $370 million project will total 645,000 square feet when completed. Scheduled to open mid-2019, 333 Dexter will feature the city’s largest new construction floor plates with three 62,000 square foot “super floors” on floors 2 through 4. The remaining floor plates will measure about 27,000 square feet each.
The full-block site includes 19,000 square feet of public space and a mid-block connection allowing pedestrians to cross between the towers. In addition to public space, there will also be about 24,000 square feet of private terraces including a large fifth floor private deck. Among the campus’s amenities will be “the largest bike lounge in the city” featuring 327 bike racks, 128 lockers, 1 fix-it station and 12 showers. The complex will also have 15,000 square feet of retail and 5 levels of below grade parking for 830 vehicles.
This will be Los Angeles-based Kilroy Realty’s first development in the Northwest. Their 333 Dexter team includes Miller Hull, architect; San Francisco-based Swinerton Builders, general contractor; and Hewitt, landscape architect. DPA Fine Art Consulting of Malibu, California will help Kilroy commission a local artist to do a mural for the complex.
This has been a very busy third and fourth quarter for Amazon. They recently leased 475,000 square feet at 300 Pine in addition to the announcement of a 722,000 square foot lease at the upcoming Rainier Square development.
