In the latest installment of Seattle Insider: One on One with UrbanAsh, Ashley sits down with native Seattleite Joe Monda to discuss his business, Promondo, where Seattle is now and where it’s heading in the future.
Promondo is a boutique construction company that specializes in anything from residential to commercial projects, including handyman items and complete remodels. At UrbanAsh, we often work with Promondo on tenant turnovers, ensuring residences are fresh as they transition from one tenant to the next.
A lot of the work that Promondo does is between the Stadium District and University District, in addition to West Seattle. Although they do some work on the Eastside (Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland), it has yet to become a focus, but an expansion is “definitely in the future.”
Originally from Capitol Hill and now living in North Seattle, if you ask Joe what neighborhoods he likes to work in, he’ll tell you the Sunset Hill area, Ballard, Magnolia, and Queen Anne. Despite preference, the best places to work are those closest to supply houses like Dunn Lumber and Home Depot.
